The experience

Mont Blanc towers over Europe’s epicenter of alpinism, providing the backdrop for one of the continent’s most iconic multi day mountain bike crossings. Threading through France, Italy, and Switzerland, this trip drops into secret singletrack, scales high altitude cols, and serves up panoramic glacier views at every turn. Built around big alpine lines, technical flow, and pure forward momentum, each day balances rewarding trail time with a mix of authentic refuge hospitality and comfortable valley hotels.

TRIP OVERVIEW & QUICK SPECS

 

DAY BY DAY EXPEDITON

Day 1: Arrival, Bike Assembly & Welcome

Arrive in Chamonix, assemble your bikes with expert mechanics on hand, and run through a full trip briefing with a short ride to spin the legs.

Day 2: Chamonix to Switzerland (55 km | +1,100m to +1,900m D+)

Ride ancient smuggler trails through Les Praz and Argentière into Switzerland. Climb toward Champex Lake, and finish with a sweeping singletrack descent into Champelac.

Day 3: Switzerland to Italy (40 km | +1,500m)

Climb past traditional Swiss villages toward the highest pass of the circuit. Cross into Italy via a technical, high-alpine descent leading directly to Courmayeur for authentic Aosta Valley cuisine.

Day 4: Italy to France (30 km | +1,800m)

Traverse Val Veny and push over Col de la Seigne back into France. Drop into the Savoie region’s Les Chapieux before a final push up Cormet de Roselend to our remote mountain refuge.

Day 5: Beaufortain to Chamonix Valley (48 km | +1,800m)

Ride singletrack and ridge lines of the Beaufortain toward Val Montjoie. Tackle the final climb over Col de Voza, descent through Les Houches woods, and roll back into Chamonix.
